His first release in many years and nothing has changed. A good value and every track is a winner. Great tunes for a back yard barbecue or just relaxing.
have not heard all the songs from this cd yet,but i met earl in playa del carmen,nov 2008 and what a treat to talk to him as well,highlight of my life.
Eclectic. Funky. Upbeat and bluesy. Before purchasing this album I read the reviews on Amazon and was very impressed and encouraged and felt I wouldn't be disappointed with this CD. I love the unpredictability. But with wonderful combination of other instruments, such as the alto and the bass flute, and various guitars (classical, bass, electric, acoustic).
Not just Earl on his guitar (brilliant and talented as he is) with the same old same old.
Fun.
LOVE IT.
I play it in my gift shop and it's just so perfect in every way.
Toe tapping.
Laid back and soulful.
Diverse.
You can play it over and over and still forget what's coming next.
